Good Bubbas Pets is the brainchild of beloved Charlotte pet sitter, Ashley Cunningham. In January 2024, she found herself living without roommates or pets for the first time ever. After 3 months, the silence drove her a little stir crazy. She decided it was a no brainer to start pet sitting in her free time.

Despite the hundreds of sitters in Charlotte, there were enough horror stories shared by pet owners that Ashley quickly realized how difficult it was for them to find reliable care. Another pain point that pet parents shared was spending thousands of dollars on training for it not to stick. That's where the idea came about to have training + pet sitting all under one roof.

This prompted Ashley to fully commit her life to all things pets. Currently, she is studying to become a certified pet trainer, which will be completed by mid 2025. Her goal is to also put some of her 15 team members through dog training as well.

A Message from Ashley:

“At Good Bubbas, we want to create a safe space for your pets throughout their lifetime. We’ll not only be able to instill good manners in your pet’s habits, but we can reinforce them through frequent walks + drop ins too. Gone are the days of endless internet searching for trustworthy companies. We’ll have all you need available under one roof!

In regards to dog training - I don’t see it as a luxury only certain families can afford, rather it’s a necessity that should be accessible to all families. Even your pet just knowing the basics can drastically improve their life + yours. With proper socialization + positive reinforcement, there’s an exponentially higher chance of behavioral issues being kept at bay.
