Good Bubbas Pets is the brainchild of beloved Charlotte pet sitter, Ashley Cunningham. In January 2024, she found herself living without roommates or pets for the first time ever. After 3 months, the silence drove her a little stir crazy. She decided it was a no brainer to start pet sitting in her free time. Ashley quickly became one of Rover’s top sitters in Charlotte.
Despite the hundreds of sitters in Charlotte, Ashley quickly realized how difficult it was for them to find reliable care. Another pain point that pet parents shared was spending thousands of dollars on training for it not to stick. That's where the idea came about to have training + pet sitting all under one roof.
This prompted Ashley to fully commit her life to all things pets. Currently, she is studying to become a certified pet trainer, which will be completed by mid 2025. She plans to put other team members through training as well.

Ashley has been with Jack every day since he was adopted in May. When he arrived he was scared of everything! He has gained so much confidence with her and now realizes he’s a fabulous 3 year old “puppy” and they are BEST friends. We are so grateful to have her in our lives.

We are so happy to have discovered Ashley and Good Bubbas. She goes above and beyond for our fur sons, one of whom can be challenging and leash reactive. Our dogs are absolutely CRAZY about her, if we say "Miss Ashley is coming to walk you guys today" our pug, Bronson, starts running to his toy bin to pull out all his best toys and waiting at the window where he can see her car pull into the driveway.
Ashley has demonstrated a high level of care, responsibility and her communication is outstanding. She makes everything easy and we feel so fortunate to have her looking out for our pups.
